About this Project

Despite the improvement in internet access, rural communities remain unable to report incidents in a timely and effective manner, leading to a lack of accountability and redress. Simplified Mobile applications, web-based reporting platforms, and other digital reporting tools are all lacking.

This project was funded and supported by a grant from TechCamp, a U.S. Department of State program that fosters collaboration between civil society, technology experts, and government officials to address global issues. It was hosted by Kathmandu Living Labs (KLL), a pioneering civic-tech enterprise in Nepal that leverages data and technology to solve challenges faced by businesses, governments, and communities

connecting communities with available government or other support services in timely and efficient manner

Generating 90-99 percent verifiable geotagged spatial data on incidents affecting rural communities to inform policy and advocacy efforts aimed at addressing the root causes of these issues

Provide real-time update on a web map dashboard and to hold perpetrators accountable for their actions by collecting data on incidents and providing this information to law enforcement, human rights organizations, and other relevant actors.


Provide information and resources on where communities can get help on the Social and environmental
issues through the chatbot
